Worship at First EPC
“Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! ”
Psalm 95:6
Psalm 95:6
“Christ always initiates with sinners. But the beauty of the gospel is that He not only has the first word, but He also has the last word. And the last word that He gives is blessing.” Join with us that are in need of Christ’s grace as we worship this awesome God who is mighty to save!
Our worship service times are Sunday mornings 8:15 and 11:15 a.m.
What to Expect?
Our worship is gospel-driven and engages our heart, mind, and soul with gratefulness to God. Services include confession, prayer, appealing music that uses a mixture of praise songs and hymns, reading of scripture, and pertinent, biblical teaching.
What about my young children?
During worship times we have childcare available for infants through 5-years old. We have a Cry Room located by the Welcome Center where you are welcome to nurse your child or go with your young child that is a little fidgety. Children in kindergarten and first grade are dismissed before the sermon begins to attend Primary Church where they can be engaged in learning more about God’s Word.
Do you offer Sunday School classes?
Sunday School is from 9:50-10:50 a.m. with several course offerings for adults and classes divided by grade for school-age children or age for preschool children. In the summer we offer an Intergenerational Class for third grade through adult and age-specific classes for infants through second grade.
You’ll see the gamut of jeans to suits and dresses, suspenders to an occasional hat. Please wear what you feel comfortable in.
Where do I park?
We have adequate parking wrapping around the sides and back of the building, with some visitor and handicapped parking closest to the main entry doors. We have additional handicapped parking at all other entrances, also.
