Small Groups
C.S. Lewis in
The Last Battle
Since the church is likened to a family, God’s family, we emphasize informal gathering of His people in small groups. It is through these relational times that the Christian life is really experienced, where people from all walks of life find that they can gather with others around Jesus, the head of our family, for fellowship, ministry, and care. Here they’ll find that as they give their life away to invest in others as an offering to Christ, He blesses and changes them. Small groups are where newer and long-time attendees can connect, where they are challenged to grow in their faith, discover their spiritual gifts, and given opportunities to minister to the body of Christ. Small groups are where we learn and process God’s Word together, where you find mentors and friends, where you can confess sin and learn more of forgiveness. When a group meets together to pray, sees God’s words unveiled through the study of His Word, fellowships together, and sacrificially meets one another’s needs, others around them see the love and growth expressed and desire a rich relationship with Christ and His people for themselves.
