Women’s Ministry at FEPC strengthens the whole church by making women strong theologically and relationally. In the woman-to-woman venue, you will have opportunities to apprehend Jesus, befriend sisters in the household of God, and tend to the needs of others as you run the race God has marked out for you. We strive to uphold an atmosphere of intimacy and authenticity, counseling and encouraging one another from God's Word.

If you're looking for a small group, we invite you to join a women's Cottage Group for Bible study, fellowship and prayer. Some Cottage groups meet in homes, and some meet at the church. Cottage Groups meet in the evening, usually twice per month. Contact the church office for more information. 253-859-8998.

Mother’s Ministry Weekly
Meetings Anyone who is a mother, plans to be a mother, or has a mother is welcome to participate in this warm, inviting ministry which meets during the school year when school is in session. Bring your friends and neighbors! The morning includes a time of singing, a lecture, Bible study discussion groups, and prayer. We offer nursery care for children under two (or keep your baby with you), Biblical classes for children ages 2-6, and a homeschool group for children in first grade and above. Bible study will also be offered for junior and senior high students. Brunches All women are invited. Childcare is provided for infants through home school children. Bring a brunch item to share and come prepared for worship, fellowship, and good food! We begin and end each program year with a brunch, and we enjoy a Christmas brunch together before we break for Christmas. Please check the church's homepage for this year's dates. Summer Fun During the summer months, we meet on a rotating basis at various locations in the area and enjoy one another's company as the children enjoy the great outdoors. We also enjoy "Mom's Night Out," during the summer months. You can get a schedule for these events as summer approaches.

September - June God has truly blessed this ministry which provides warmth and encouragement to many through our giving to various missions, especially the Union Gospel Mission, and the White Swan Indian reservation in Yakima. We make quilts from donated materials using 8” square fabric pieces which are sewn into quilt tops by volunteers at home. These tops are then matched with batting and a sheet. On the first Thursday of each month, a group of volunteers meets to tie the layers together. The monthly workshops are a great time
to tie and visit. No experience is necessary. Please check the
church's home page for times and dates of our meetings, as we sometimes
add Saturday workshops. |
