VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Vacation Bible School is July 6-10 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. It is open to all children four years old through sixth grade. Registration forms are available in the preschool hallway north of the Narthex and also may be printed below.

VBS T-Shirts: A limited number of t-shirts are available, so please reserve your shirt now!

All-VBS Meeting and Prayer Time is Sunday, July 5, from 2:00-2:30 p.m. in the MPR. All workers should plan to attend. Classroom set-up and building decoration to follow at 2:30 p.m.

People Are Needed to Help move furniture and set up signs and props for VBS on Sunday, July 5, at 2:30 p.m. You are welcome to drop in at 2:30 or to call Susie Robinson at 253/859-8998 for a work assignment.

Donations Needed for VBS:

  • Cookies: Leave in the main church kitchen (no cookies with nuts, please).
  • Boxes: Empty cardboard, with low sides (used for water bottles or pop (approximately 10”-12” x 14”-17”). Leave boxes in the Resource Room.
  • Cans: Empty 14- to 26-ounce cans with no sharp edges, please. Cans may be left in the Resource Room.

Missions Conference Coming! Plan to join us on Friday, July 24, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 25, from 8:30 a.m. until noon as we hear from several of our missionaries about how God is at work throughout the world.



Young Adult Dinner/Dessert: Join us for dinner or dessert on July 12 at Red Robin in Kent (25207 104th Ave. SE) after the evening service (6:00-7:00 p.m.) for some fellowship time. Please sign up at the Welcome Desk.



Summer Sunday School classes are from 9:50-10:50 a.m. in the following rooms:  

  • 2-/3-year-olds ...........................................1205

  • 4-/5-year-olds ...........................................1209

  • K-2nd grade ..............................................1721

  • Intergenerational Class for 3rd graders through adults ............ ............ Multipurpose Room (MPR)

(Graduated sixth graders may also attend Student Ministries Sunday School in the Summit.)

  • Financial Peace University ..........................1711 (two-hour class from 9:50-11:50 a.m.)
