Operation Christmas Child
Children’s Ministry is excited to sponsor Operation Christmas Child in partnership with Samaritan’s Purse! Our children and their families will put together shoeboxes with small toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and other non-perishable goods. Samaritan’s Purse will minister to needy children around the world by sharing the gospel with them while providing them with these much-needed gifts.
Anyone can pack a box!
Packing instructions and materials can be printed from www.samaritanspurse.com/occ. Please contact Becca Tyra (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions or for paper copies. Boxes will be collected on Wednesday, November 5 from the mid-week Children's Programs and Sunday, November 9 through Sunday, November 16 from Sunday School and the Congregation. Collection bins will be at the Welcome Center and across from the Resource Room. Thank you so much for caring for our little ones near and far in this way!
Children’s Sunday School provides wonderful, God-centered classes for children 21-months-old through sixth grade. Classes for three-year-olds through sixth graders use the outstanding Children Desiring God curriculum. Younger children are taught from an in-house created curriculum specifically designed for this age group.
Each class provides a take-home paper so that families may interact together about Sunday’s lesson throughout the week at home. Classes begin September 7, 2014, and meet throughout the school year.
Sunday School times are 9:45-10:45 am.
Join us for our mid-week elementary children’s programs. We meet on Wednesday evenings during the school year and visitors are always welcome. Your children can join in at any time during the school year, and so can their friends. Use the links below to access calendars and registration forms. Registration forms must be signed by a parent or guardian--please complete a form for each child.
